2025-2026 Concert Information

This season marks our 63rd year of making music together, and there’s truly no better time to join us! Our upcoming concert will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our nation with a special “Semiquincentennial” Concert.” We’ll perform a dynamic mix of popular patriotic selections that you and our audiences love, along with several new Songs of America. The orchestra will also shine in powerful and popular works by American composers.

If you haven’t sung with us recently, this is the perfect year to return! Don’t miss the chance to be part of an unforgettable musical experience—and please invite your friends, family, students, and neighbors to join us, too.

Our concert weekend will be held on Saturday, April 25th (dress rehearsal) and Sunday, April 26th at 2:30 PM in the Waupaca High School Performing Arts Center. Due to the timing of Easter, scheduling conflicts with instrumentalists, and facility availability, this year’s concert falls slightly later than usual. I will also be unavailable for rehearsals from March 30th–April 7th (Easter week) for personal reasons. Even with these adjustments, we’ll maintain the same number of rehearsals as in previous seasons.

Our first rehearsal will take place on Tuesday, January 6th in the Waupaca High School Choir Room.

  • Score sales: 6:45–7:30 PM (in the Commons/Lobby Hallway)
  • Rehearsal: 7:30–9:00 PM
Subsequent Tuesday rehearsals will run from 7:00–9:00 PM.

Because of the wide variety of music we’ll be performing, the total cost for all new choral scores and the participation fee will be $45. (This cost may be lower per singer based on need.) A full list of the proposed repertoire is listed below.

I also want to acknowledge some of the concerns raised in past years about winter weather. While consistent rehearsal attendance is important, please don’t let a few missed practices—whether due to weather or vacation plans—keep you from joining us. Your presence and enthusiasm matter most, and we’ll make sure everyone feels supported and prepared.

I warmly invite you to join us for our 63rd Anniversary “Semiquincentennial” Concert as we celebrate America’s musical heritage and the joy of singing together. Please share this invitation with any local singers who may wish to participate. No auditions or prior choral experience are required—just bring your love of music and a friend!
