Children’s Theatre
The Waupaca Community Children’s Theatre
Instituted in the summer of 2006, was an outgrowth of the Waupaca Community Theatre as a response to the overwhelming number of children who wished to participate in summer shows but perhaps were unable due to the cast size/needs or thematic elements of the summer mainstage productions. The cast of elementary through senior high school age students rehearses during June and July and then presents a week of performances at the Waupaca Middle School’s Knoepfel Auditorium in late July. The Waupaca Community Children’s Theatre has recently been partnering with the Waupaca School District through the District’s Summer School Program. The theatre program provides a wonderful learning experience for the students and a great feeder system for the Waupaca Community Theatre. Auditions are held in April.
The Waupaca Community Children’s Theatre is overseen by the Waupaca Community Theatre’s Board of Directors.

Auditions are just a month away! April 22nd from 3:15-5:00pm in the WLC music rooms. Permission forms are available with district music teachers.
Rehearsals will take place during summer school, June 9th-July11th. The last week of summer school we will offer acting workshops.
Remember that in order for students to participate, they must be enrolled in summer school. More information about enrollment can be found here.
Performance dates have changed!
Elephant and Piggie's "We're in a Play" will be at Waupaca Middle School the following dates:
July 11th at 10am and 6pm
July 12th at 2pm and 6pm
July 13th at 2pm
Auditions will be April 22nd at the WLC. Audition forms will be available to students at the end of March.
